You got oil leaked down the plug holes from the valve cover you will need to buy a tube of ultra grey silicon . try this take all plugs out wash them with carb spray wash the spark plug holes out with rag twisted onto screw driver and gas ect ok when dry put a little smear of the ultra grey onto the spark plug threads near the center of the threads all the way around then screw plug into hole let it dry do all the plugs this way it should top the miss if it come back and theres more oil in the spark plug tube hole youl have to take the valve cover off and clean the gasket with gasoline or carb spray dry the gasket off then clean gasket groove on pan and dry it with rag (tee shirt) put a smear of the ultra grey silicon (get at autozone ) all the way around the gasket both sides wash the head where the gasket go's (seals)with gas or carb spray (also nail polish remover ) put valve cover on see that the gasket is in place proper befor tightening the cover bolts

SOURCE: eng. shakes spits/sputters oil in spark plugs

I just had this fixed on my suby today. The cause is that the spark plugs, go through the valve covers on the 2.5 l .When the o rings in the cover go, the result is oil in the spark plugs. The cost of the repair in Canada was about $500 including diagnostics as well as new plugs and wires About 1.5 hours labor and new seals and gaskets. It now runs like new. This is a common problem for this subaru engine as well as for the dodge neon.

It violently shakes when parked or when stopped with brake applied, doesn't shake when moving though, rpms is like 500rpm constant so between 0 and 1 on the gauge. it also notice at night my lights stay...

If it shakes, it is normally either a bad motor mount (if the car runs fine) or your car is "missing" on one or more cylinders (misfire). The belt will squeal because they stretch with use. That can be solved by replacing the belt or tightening the belt. The squealing sound won't go away until you do one of those two things and is unrelated to the shaking. You PROBABLY are experiencing a very "rough idle" if any of the hoses to the intake (top of the motor) have a hole or crack in them from heat or age. This is common and is the first thing to look for to avoid high repair bills. Bad (worn out) spark plugs or old cracked plug wires can also cause a misfire. You could also have a bad coil pack, but mine has gone 186,000 miles without coil replacement or new plugs or wires and I've only changed the fuel filter once. Another possiblity is a faulty Idle Position Sensor that is not properly regulating the fuel delivery. Normally that would cause an engine light to come on also though and you can have someone at the parts store "read the code" once the engine light comes on.
