2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring Digital display does not light up. I was told to shine a flashlight on it and if I could see the words, etc. then the bulb that shines through the display is burned out. How do I replace the bulb in the dash?

The main things to look for are your Malfunction Indicator Light (also known as "Check Engine" light), your Antilock Brake warning light and your Airbag warning light. These are the things that will indicate if there are expensive repairs needed.
It might be a good idea to study the Owner's manual a bit so you know what you are looking for and where things are located.
You can download a copy of the Owner's manual for free at the Chrysler web site. Just click the link below and select the year and model.
If there is no power at either connector on the window the first place I would look is the harness that goes in between the hatch and the body. It is pretty common for the wires to break in that area.
We have had this happen in every town and country and caravan that we have owned. They will tell you that the window motor needs replaced. It will work for a while and then break again. Did I mention that the price tag to fix it is pretty hefty? A friend of mine told me that he fixed his with a salvaged window motor for a fraction of the price. The motor is obviously defective though if it breaks so easily.
check the bulbs do not have fractured filaments, and check the headlamp relay.check the sockets for corrosion and if all that checks out ok check the connection on the back of the headlight switch and the daytime running light module
