When u first start it it runs good the more u drive it through the day the worse it runs it misses then eventually dies then 15 or 20 mins later starts and runs really rough for rest of day any ideas

water can get to a carb many a way, seen vast do that.
1: hood missing and all air cleaner parts missing or damaged
2: the hood rear seal fails. driving. +above./
3: water heated choke fails. leaks
4: drive in deep water and sucked in water and engine now a total wreck./
5: or vandalized
6: 99% of all carbs that old are not any good at all, they need to be rebuilt or buy one rebuilt. it will be bad and parts inside clogged up. or worse missing
Have the engine codes pulled to see what is at fault . This will guide you to the root cause. A local Checker or Auto zone can help with code retrieval .
I Think Your Problem Is Still With The Fuel Supply,Have You Changed all Fuel Filters,Follow All The Fuel Lines Make Sure There Are No Kinked Fuel Hoses,Some Times You Find Small Filters In The Top Of The Fuel Injectors. Hope This Helps
Did you disconnect the timing feedback connector above the distributer when timing? If the cat. converter is plugged the engine will run like it has no power and usually sets a rich mixture or O2 sensor code.
