SOURCE: how do I replace a fan belt on C280 model with air conditioner

You find a 17 mm bolt under the belt or a 15 mm bolt in the middle of the tension pulley. If you undo the bolat this will release the belt tension.
To remove the belt turn the bolt by slipping a 4' pipe over the socket wrench handle.
Use a wrench as a lever to slide out the belt. Put the new belt last on the idler pulley that contacts the belt only on the smooth side.
Do not unscrew the Button Torx bolt in the center of the tension pulley, it is not needed.

SOURCE: where's turn signal switch? on c280 1994 mercedes

The switch is the stalk assembly on steering column. The hazard switch is the relay(FLASHER). To replace switch r&r LF under dash and unplug 2 connectors at base of steering column(electrical). You will need a long t20 socket to remove airbag and then a 10mm allen to remove steering wheel. There are a series of screws to remove the c.c. switch steering airbag contact and blinker switch. I would recommend replacing the hazard switch first unless you are certain that the blinker switch is bad.

1994 Mercedes c280 high beams not working...

At first 1994 C280 high beams began to not connect regularly when stick pushed forward, then not at all. Drove high beams by pulling and holding stick back towards steering wheel until that stopped working, too. Shop said the turn signal switch was at fault-- had seen it many times before with W202; about $160 to replace. Haven't done it yet, but should be an easy fix?

If you have a carborator it is shot - If it is fuel injected than you have need to have your heads cleaned or replaced. If it doesn't turn over at all I would start with your starter. Your distributor can also cause this as well - I had to replace all of the above, minus the carborator and it fixed my problem - Was like a new car afterward.
