What is the firing order for a 03 3,7 liter jeep liberty motor

What size motor?

no job stated,
its not spark , 3.7L usa runs 6 COPS, all PCM fired direct
must be playing with what

backfiring is an indication of incorrect spark firing order or timing check that the HT leads are not touching each other and that the firing order is correct

Here is the diagram.
Firing order 1-6-5-4-3-2

Check the battery for bad connections..take off the cables and clean both the battery posts and the cable connectors and then try...if no start, then see if you can check the battery voltage with a voltmeter...at stand still(engine not running) the battery should read 12.5 volts...if battery is ok, then there is the possibility that the starter solenoid, the starter relay, or (in rare cases) the ignition switch is bad
