My abs light and red brake light on constantly while running and my abs brake pump by brake reservoir and next to fuse box under hood wont shut off even when you shut engine down and pull key out. it runs on and on until it kills the batteries if you let it. how do I repair and get brake lights out?
It isn't often we get enough information to make a diagnosis, but I think we can in this case.
You have a break light switch under the dashboard that is plastic, and has a "plunger" button.
When you press the brake pedal, that allows the plunger button to extend, which closes contacts inside the switch, and makes the brake lights come on.
If and when that switch either breaks or gets loose, the plunger will stay extended, and the brake lights will stay on, discharging the battery.
God bless your efforts to see & fix this.

If you are looking for the fuse box diagrams or any other diagrams for your Ram, check promanuals.net for a factory service manual for around 20 bucks or so. It's an invaluable tool for my Ram 2500.

Schmaltzy ,according to the diagram, the power comes directly form the ABS controller, no relays in between. I believe your module has an internal short to power.
Here is the diagram.
It shows the power in the diagram to the pump on the bottom right.
I can't see any other reason for the pump staying on other than a bad module.
Seen a lot of these trucks in my shop, never an issue like this on a Dodge. But have seen it on a couple of GM pickups.
I hope your repair goes OK.
Thank you for using FixYa
