Had a bad alternator so i started and moved car to my house from autozone which is just directly across the street had no problems. i put in new alternator has a new battery i opened door no interior lights or dash lights no window power just the radio came on i started car and i had to hold in accelerator for car to stay on when released car dies. any suggestions
Test the alternator it may be bad. but it could be something simple as a wire did not get hooked back up correctly. and then there is the other option you didn't disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system and shorted something out. check your ground wires and the plugs for the alternator and anything else you worked on. my neighbor worked on his Honda and it had three bad alternators and he had to go with the orginal expensive alternator to make it run again.

you have a bad ground wire connection find where your ground wires go into the frame and clean the connections on them the same thing happened to my 93 buik regal and i had it checked and thats all it was.

are you sure the alternator is good? because it could be tricky ...The only other thing is the wire running back to battery pack to charge battery maybe disconnected

Stop by any good parts store (Autozone, Advance, etc..) and have them test your charging system and load test your battery. I think you'll find your answer between those two tests.

Your not charging,do you see the engine junction fuse box, look for any open fuses(big ones),On a 2002 Frontier the alternator cable goes to the engine fuse junction box before the alternator, you may see a open fuse (big ones), also you can purchase a voltmeter and test the charging system in the car yourself

Sounds like the battery. If its not holding power it will cause the car to die. The alternator will charge the battery and keep power to the vehicle, but the battery is also apart of the process.
Replace the battery and check the battery cables for corrosion. At autozone or wherever you go to get a new battery get some terminal grease/protector for your battery. Its like .99 for a packet and will help keep your connections to the battery from corrosion.
