I cant understand when the automechanic had requested for us to re set the meter from the oil change my husband tried and he pumped the breaks 4xs hard ,and now the lights vsc,and trac off lights are on.this is really crazy.now they tell us to go to the dealer cause they don't understand what is wrong.please can you help me.

Check your switches for the VSC, some get bumped on (due to their location) and some get stuck in the "on"position.

I did research on line and all indicates that is caused by the YAW RATE SENSOR. It nedds to be replace and adjust. I have the same problem but havent find the time to get to it. When I do I will post it. If you do it before I do please email me with the result at [email protected]

It's probably an O2 sensor. I've had the same issue with O2 sensors failing. Go to Autozone and have them read the code or buy a code reader for $40-60 and read the code yourself... it will tell you which one is bad.

have whomever replaced the brakes look into it. seems related. Also is the abs light on as well? usually both lights come on together related to anti-lock braking and traction control.
