Both doors with both inside and outside handles? Are the handles broke. You will have to remove the door panels with the doors shut to get to the latch to open the doors. This is kind of tough with the seat in the way but you can do it.

2000 hyundai sonata passenger door lock stuck in locked position

If your talking about the teeth/latch that actually engage around the pin to hold the door closed and not the lock you puhs down to lock it. all you have to do is get a screwdriver or anything small and strong you can stick in it and pull the tooth back into the "open" position. You might have to pull the handle out like your opening the door normally while you do this.

My hyundai sonata 2004 rear door has broke, can i change door with hyundai sonata 1998.

Hello,

The 2004 door is not compatible with the 1998. You need to find a door in the 2002-2005 range. The 1998 door might look the same, but the mouldings, wiring (if you have a power door), and the trim card will be different. If you find one in the above year range you will be able just to put it on and drive away. If you decide to look for a used door call your dealer with your VIN Number and ask them for the paint code. If you are lucky you will be able to find a used door in color.

Good Luck!

1998 sonata pass. door won't open

See your dealer. Just kidding.
sounds like your power lock motor inside door is either inoperative or the clips for connector rod is off . you should femove pannel and chek .if the rod is off go to dealer snd you get a new clip. chek the lock motor for operation.

Front Doors Won't Open?

Hyundai sonata have small spring about 3 cms long which corrodes and brakes. When this happens you cannot open the front two doors. you have to unfortunately cut a hole in the door trim and open the door by realeasing the latch with hand and then replace the spring.
