Hello, I have a mk 1 GTI 1600CC, recently did some wiring...i noticed the speedo clocks not working, yet had tested it manually before plugging its end to the gearbox. secondly, my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears have jammed, cannot be able to engage and the stick is loose i also have issues with my points and condensors, they spoil all the time....please help

im not telling you what to do because it could be a bad transmission and an easy fix but I cant tell without looking at it , but if its a hard fix just go to a reliable junkyard and get another

time to put a new tranny in that jet most of the time it costs to much to repair it then replace it i have done may tranny rebuilds and replacements to me i would just tell you to replace it at least you will get a better warrentee and stuff
