u need to jack the rear up enough in order to get a floor jack with a piece of plywood cut a Little smaller then the size of the tank, remove as much gas as u can with a siphon, take the fuel lines apart, located in the area of the fuel filter in front of the left tire, disconnect the screws around the gas filler pipe inside the fuel door,remove the filler and over flow hoses, at the tank,just get them loose and when u remove the tank straps with the plywood in place on the jack under the tank u can maneuver the hoses off as u let the tank down, also before u begin release the gas pressure at the fuel rail,looks like the end of a air value stem,be sure to replace the short wiring harness at the gas tank, its only 6-8inches long,its a must, install in reverse, pick up a Haynes motor manual. good luck to u..

take out radaitor both cooling fans and there it is, right on the bottom, its no fun , there is 3 bolts that hold the alt, on, i could not get the last one in, the one up against the block, so i left it out ,its been 3 years no problem , dont forget to drain the rad. and disconect the battery
