1991 Toyota Previa Dashboard lights

95 have bulbs in the dash that can be replaced. If none of the bulbs light up( you can't see any gauges) you have a power or ground problem. This could be in the dash also. If some gauges light up, then then the bulb is bad. Both require the cluster to be be pulled .

Did you pack the pump with vasoline before starting the engine to prime it easier?

I have done this with the help of my Chilton's manual. I would get one if I were you, then just follow the instructions. Cost around $20 at auto parts stores.

check your switch first, if nothing, check the fuses

pop fuse cover, remove vent housing, remove speedo upper cover, remove 4 bolts holding speedo remove speedo, change bulb

There is a small hole in the clear dashboard cover by the odometer. Find a thin pen or pencil and press the small tab located beneath the hole and that will reset the oil change sensor.

... ALMOST all cars. In the Previa, it's in the top center of the dashboard just above the radio. If you look closely, there is a little tab above the radio that lifts upward and allows the fusebox cover to lift up, revealing the fusebox. Weird place, but actually quite handy.

check fuses , maybe all thats wrong;

better check for electriacal problem on the dashboard instumental pannel some comes with fuses for dashboard system check for bulbs they are ok or fused then if fused replaced with new one & for further trouble free solution see for your nearest authorised dealer or authorised service centre so untill then drive safely trouble free driving & do keep on writing for more solution untill then see you sir
