Where is the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor High Input

There is no map sensor on this vehicle. Your talking about mercury mountaineer? I'm not sure of engine size? I looked at two different sizes for the 04, no map sensor.
There is however a maf/mass air flow sensor.

Where map sensor located

there is no MAP for fueling the ECU uses MAF for air flow.
there is a MAP for EGR only. called a different name. do to that fact.
nice guess,
why not post symptoms.????????????????
this engine fuels mostly off the MAF.
ture air flow.
need maf test page got it.
G16b engine, USA car.

all ways, the scan tool way is BEST, no scan tool , no JOY.

What color wires on MAF/IAT sensor for 2005 grand Cherokee limited

what job? which engine.? 3.7L SOHC, engine? or the 4.7 V8?
3.7 is just a 4. 7 with missing 2 cyl. (the engine plants in Detroit are side by side)
hacking ?(if true, i can prove it wont work what ever you are doing) ask why?)
or diagnosing them? sure can help,
the FSM book covers this, ever heard of the factory service manual. ??? aka. SM? but the Factory one is BEST !
the chapter 8 covers all this. ever inch of wires. covered.

the IAT has 2 wires, see it there, its obvious the colors.
the MAF, what maF? ) sure you meant MAP ok?)

2005 is a WK jeep,
the full manual is here
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

if you use the live data from the scan tool
you can see if either are reading wrong, did you?>

my guess is you meant air flow sensors in general.
there are 2 kinds, MAP and MAF
most jeeps run a MAP and not a MAF.!
if you knew how to test both you'd for sure know what is there.
In fact i always check this first. (speed density/air density systems are radically different)

there is no MAF.
the MAP measures Baro vacuum in the plenum
and the PCM has very complex tables that computer injection rates vacuum readings (air flow is calculated on this engine not measured directly with a MAF)
page 8w-30-11 and 30-16 cover both sensor wiring.

the map only measures vacuum (or in science, Baro pressure).
i have the baro to voltage reading chart for this sensor.
if you need it.
ah shucks , this guy has it...

http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/my-map.html#Jeep

some FSM its missing this very important chart.
grab it and keep it.

Locating MAF on 2001 alreo

Honda's do not use a mass air flow (MAF) sensor. They use a manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor. The MAP sensor measures vacuum vs the MAF sensor measuring air flow/temperature. No real reason to clean a Honda MAP sensor. Are you having engine performance/idle problems? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Map sensor nissan maxima1995

This car uses a MAF sensor not a MAP, they do very much the same thing but in very different ways. The MAF is located in the air duct that supplies air to the engine from the air cleaner. See picture below.

1991 olds cutlass calais 2.5 engine ran the self dignostics and got code 33 need to what code 33 is.

It's the maf/map sensor circuit.
maf--- mass air flow sensor
map--- manifold absolute pressure.--- check the small vaccum hose from the map sensor to the source, could be brittle and leaking air.
Have both the map and maf sensor checked for proper voltage, one or both could be bad. A repair shop shouldn't charge much to do that.

What could be a problem with engine trouble code 17549 skoda fabia 1.4mpi

Iits a code that's flagged when the MAF / MAP read different values to what the ECU expects.Possible causes are Maf sensor, Map sensor or Vacuum leak. From experience, it's almost always the Maf sensor.

this year doesn't use a MAP sensor, it uses a MAF sensor, 2 very different parts that do very much the same thing in diff ways, and that is measure airflow into the engine, the MAF is located in the air intake hose to the engine, see picture below.
