Driver side window / door lock buttons not working?

a wrecking yard door switch is probally your fix ,but a proper diagnosis is the best way as the window motor may have gone.
know someone how can take the door apart without breaking the door panel ? remove door panel plug switches back in. unplug motor test with test light for power( power flips + becomes - ,- becomes + )as you test (up, down)if you have power its the motor if you have no power its the switch ( u stated others work so its not a fuse issue). my money is on the switch good luck

I have a 2003 chev silverado, 4x4 2500 both power seats and seat heaters stopped working at the same time, Looking for reason why, all fuses seem to be good. I was told to replace the 25 amp relay on

Ok I don't know who these people are giving advice but I hope they are not gm mechanics. There is a fuse under the hood marked MBEC 1 50amp. If it blows it knocks out both power seats seat heaters and power windows passenger side front and back. I can't believe all this wiring ****!

Cruise control for 1996 960volvo

I had approached a local garage that specialize in import cars and asked for some advice on my issue. They gave me some ideas to try and look for. remember that I am mechanically incline when it comes to most things. Feeling armed with some good info, I went home to work on some of their suggestions. One suggestions was to check the brakeing switch that works off the brake pedal movement. As everyone knows, when you touch the brake when cruise is on it cancels out the cruise functions. The mechanic said that if this was not working properly the the cruise control would not work as well. I was also told to check all the vacume lines that have to deal with the cruise assembly. Upon inspection of the lines I noticed some vacume modules. So I tapped all the modules with a rubber handled screw driver as well.
Later that day I took the car for a drive and tried the cruise control and low and behold, it worked. This advice cost me just a little bit of my time and thats all. I am so gratefull for the advice that was given to me from Alpine Motors that led to a simple fix for my issue, that I when to the local donut shop and bought a large box of treats for them. I was fortunate this time arround, but I didn't give up hope that this issue was not as serious as it seems to be.
