It has lost the signal for the computer. It happens. It has to be reprogrammed. Some garages can do it. Most likely a dealer.

Radio stations

There is a radio option to recalibrate your touch screen. Please press the following three hard keys simultaneously RADIO/MEDIA, SEEK UP, NAV (AUDIO on REN). Once you begin to recalibrate the touch screen you must finish. Audio confirmation prompts are provided for each of the three points of calibration, one beep for the first, two for the second and three for the third. The calibration needs to be precise as possible and a PDA stylus would be recommended. The MyGIG radio requires the user to repress each calibration point to confirm the calibration process. A green crosshair indicates proper calibration. You must not start with the "+" but with the "+1", then goto "+2" and last to "+". Repeat this until all crosses are green and exit with pushing the menue or any other key. Done

I have the unlock code for my 99 saturn sl2 but i need the radio layout

Hello, you will need to enter your radio unlock code using these instructions.

  1. Press SEEK DOWN, SEEK UP, TUNE DOWN, or TUNE UP. The radio display should show 0000.
  2. PRESS SEEK DOWN to set the first digit.
  3. Press SEEK UP to set the second digit.
  4. Press TUNE DOWN to set the third digit.
  5. Press TUNE UP to set the fourth digit.
  6. If the code was entered correctly, the radio will display SEC (SECURE). The theft deterrent system for the radio is now active and normal operation may be resumed. If the code was entered incorrectly, the radio will display Err for 5 seconds and the LOC (LOCKED) will be displayed again. If LOC is displayed, repeat 1-6.
  7. If the correct code is not entered in 8 attempts, follow the next steps:
  8. 7.1. Turn ignition to ACC position. 7.2. Turn radio power switch OFF. 7.3. Wait one hour before repeating steps 1 through 7. If attempts to unlock the system are made before the one hour period is up, the radio will display INOP (INOPERATIVE). Continue to wait. If the ignition is not in the ACC position, power will never reset internally to allow itself to be unlocked. 7.4. After one hour, repeat steps 1-7.

Trying to set time after battery died, not shown in manuel correctly

Usually on older AC-Delco/Remy Radio, press the "set" button and it will take you back to the radio station frequency, then push the left knob inward, then it will take you back to the time again. Before the "set" mode ceases, use the seek and scan buttons to change the minute and hour for the time, until you get to the time you want.

Other models will have the "set" button being a small almost hidden button, you can use a paper clip pin end to depress. Which will initiate the "set" mode, then you can push in the left or right knobs and the time mode will come on. Then using seek rocker switch or the seek and scan buttons the time minutes and hours will start to change.

The last type is where you have to either hold down the set button then use the seek and scan buttons or you have to hold down the set button for about 4 seconds then the clock will go into a blinking or set display mode, for which you can use either the knobs or the seek and scan buttons to produce minute and hour change display on your clock.

Try these methods. I know on older GM vehicles with AC Delco/Remy type radios/stereos, usually there is a "set" button for setting your favorite radio stations to instant numbered buttons, usually up to four or five of them. This same "set" button can be used to set the time. But when you hit the "set" button it will take you to the radio station frequency, not the time. That is when you press in the left knob or sometimes the right knob, and the time display will come on, while it is still in the set mode. Then you can press on the seek and scan buttons, one of them will change your minutes the other one will change your hours, for your clock display time. When you reach the correct time you desire, then hit the "set" button again, which will turn off the set mode. Your clock should start working normally, starting from the time you've set
