My 1992 Chevrolet 1500 power window will not stop automatically when closed?

The short answer is no. The truck uses a circuit breaker for both power windows instead of a fuse.
You would need to check for power at the circuit breaker and then at the master switch in the driver's door.

check the ign fuse,check the ign switch and immobilisor.

If the fuse is good and the reverse lights are good, I would suspect your problem will be the reverse light switch itself. I believe yours is located on the side of the transmission where your linkage connects, if you have an automatic transmission.
If you have a manual transmission , you'll probably have to contact the local automotive parts store and ask them to tell you where it's located.

Output shaft is generally a different lenght on the 2wd vs the 4wd.
