What kind of sensors are on a 2004 sebring 2.4l 4 cylinder engine

Car just started rough idling when hot does not idle rough when cold, no codes, car great at any speed off of idle, Rough equals missing and hesitation

U might need a tune up or one of the spark plugs might be bad and causing the misfire, a distributor wire could be loose or just gone bad

Have the codes checked if you haven't as it can store a code without check engine light being on. You may have a headgasket seeping .

why do you want your rpms higher while idling? you don't want them high because your gas bill will reflect that. slow shouldn't matter but if it's dying while on idle it could either be your mass air flow sensor or your fuel filter being clogged

Find your air mass flow sensor in the stiff collar of the air ducting immediately after the air filter. Have the engine running and disconnect the plug to the MAF. If this makes the car run evenly again you need to replace the broken MAF. The misfire on plug 4 I think is a downstream event of the MAF not sending the right info to the ECU and consequently not providing the right fuel / air mix to the engine

Check the vacuum hoses not even a pin hole,Follow vacuum hose from throttle body to the evap purge solenoid diconnect line at eps can side and hook a hand vacuum pump to eps turn on key don't start add ten inches vacuum no drop in vacuum replace evap purge solenoid if it works it's probally the nvld assembly
