It could, if the fuel pressure is less then 60psi. Check the fuel pressure at te shredder valve, there should be 60 to 65psi to have the fuel injectors to work. If there is less then that, then it's a good chance that the fuel pump is going to have to be replaced and the fuel filter. To keep it simple, replace the fuel filter first and see if that get's the engine running. The other thing to that would cause this is a bad ignition control module (ICM) and that is located at the distributor. turn the ignition to the on position without starting the engine. you should hear the fuel pump running for 5 seconds inside the fuel tank. if not heard replace the engines oil switch. that starts the pumps circuit when the key is turned on. after the engine builds up its normal oil pressure the computer shuts that oil switches circuit off and turns on the fuel pump relay
