Car lost power and will not restart

Need more information on make model and whether the check engine light came on or not

- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) power relay
- ECM power relay harness is open or shorted
- ECM power relay circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty (ECM)

check the crank shaft sensor ,check the timing belt . check the coil , check the fuel pump pressure

do you have injector pulse?

The oil light coming on when stopped at a stop sign tells me your engine was already damaged before you had the power loss problem. I would not waste the 650 to put in an oil pump. You would be further ahead to just replace the engine.

I have the same van, with the same problem. I took it in while the engine light was on and it came back as the crankshaft sensor.

what engine and how many miles,possible timing belt,get back to me Ray

spark plugs? spark plug wires? coil? if it shuts off when hot, and starts when cold, coil could be problem....could be radiator stopped up causing it too heat, and will go off wait a few and it'll start back up...

Sound Like a computer problem.When it just dies it does
