This vehicle is built with a throttle body by wire, that means that it doesn't have the cable from the accelerator to the throttle body, normally this happens when people change the battery, try disconnecting the battery for 10 min, then touch the 2 terminal cables together, to discharge any power in the system, connect battery and try again. if it doesn't work, you well need to program the throttle body or a may be defective. also check all of the fuses, all of them not just some. good luck.

2007. Why is it hard to start?

Hello. It seems one or more of your car's 'fuel injectors' is/are 'flooding' your cars engine. The excess fuel 'ignites'; making the engine 'race' at high engine speed yet it won't accelerate. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Loss of power on acceleration. Put new fuel

Probably the ignition timing is not advancing the spark on acceleration or high rpm's.

That is the job of the ECM (Electronic Control Module). Check it / Replace it.

Hope this helps!

2000gc wont accelerate... Fuel filter??

Change the filter first and see if that helps, if not, have a fuel pressure test done.
Also check all the vacuum lines for bad hoses, all it takes is a pin hole in these damn emissions systems to screw up the whole system.
