A few days ago it started running rough engine light comes on. get multiple misfire and evap code. has new plugs wires cap and rotor. Revs all over timing is advancing big time (per advanced auto guy using comp.) it has brand new timing belt, pulleys tentioner, and water pump. took battery off, checked cap, wires. put back battery. ran fine for half a day. starting doing the same thing. misfire code again, no evap code, dying, erratic revs. happens at idle and under power. does not have full power.

I found this; if it helps.
The injectors need to be cleaned, if an engine is experiencing any of the classic symptoms of dirty injectors, such as lean misfire, rough idle, hesitation and stumbling on light acceleration, a loss of power, and higher hydrocarbon (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions.
Lean misfire may also trigger a misfire code and turn on the Check Engine light on 1996 and newer vehicles with OBD II systems. The code often will be a P0300 random misfire code, or you may find one or more misfire codes for individual cylinders, depending on which injectors are most affected.

Hope this helps
SOURCE: i have a Dodge Grand Caravan 1996 model it stalls,
I had the same problem I think I have fixed it it seemed to be the air filter as you go down the road you are is restricted and when you come to stop the motor dies from to much gas give it a try only an $12.00 fix

A multi misfire may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plug or wires, Faulty coil (pack), Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector(s), Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages, Faulty camshaft position sensor, Defective computer.
The engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wire, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the the problems were faulty fuel injectors.
Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.
Good luck and hope this information helps, keep me posted, be glad to help you get the truck running 100% again. Not sure if your running a K&N air filter, and if you are there may be a flim of oil on the MAF sensor that is making you run lean. You may want to spray down the MAF sensor with a can of MAF cleaner.

TRY REPLACING THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR..HAVE SEEN THESE CAUSE MISFIRES AND LOW VOLTAGE DTCS AS PCM THINKS VEHICLE IS NOT RUNNING..ALTERNATOR MAY NOT BE PUTTING OUT PROPERLY
Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Possible Causes:
Air leak in the intake manifold, or in the EGR or EVAP system.Base engine mechanical fault that affects two or more cylinders.Erratic or interrupted CKP or CMP Sensor signals.Fuel delivery component fault that affects two or more cylinders. (i.e., a contaminated, dirty or sticking fuel injector).Ignition system problem (coil or plug) in two or more cylinders.Vehicle driven with low fuel pressure or while very low on fuel.
