Had same exact problem, it was a bad coil. I could not duplicate "no start" problem with water bottle. Replaced coil and problem gone.
Note: There was a noticeable engine misfire at highway speeds on humid days. This accompanied the no start problem.

I think it may be a crack in your coil pack (where the plug wires go opposite the plugs. it may not be visible but i would look into that.

I would check harness body grounds for loosness or corrosion especially in the rear of vehicle.

Why does my ECM-I fuse keeps blowing?

Did you check the crank sensor wire, it may be hitting the hot exhaust. does the wire going to fuel pump have a problem and is shorting out. ECM 1 ..... then there are 5 components that this fuse feeds
1-crank sensor
2- all injectors
3- ECM
4- electronic ignition control module
5- ignition coil - check for a bad wire in these areas. Hope this helps.

First check the air filter to make sure you didn't suck water into the filter.

My 2004 Alero has a problem when it rains. It won't start after it was rained and it seems to me that something is getting wet under the hood and causing this that I have to let it sit after it rains,...

I doubt anything is getting wet, but you could be right on a bad connection. You could have enough humidity in the air after a rain to cause a weak connection to fail completely. It could also be a faulty relay.
Someone would need to figure out if you are lacking spark to the plugs or fuel pressure when it fails to start, then track down why.

Why won't my car start? It was running last night.

Try start the car again when it is completely dry, if it starts the rain may be short circuiting something on the loom in the engine bay.

If it still wont start,

will it turn over? (car tries to start)
- If it wont turn over the battery would be dead

- If it turns over but wont burst into life then we can go from there ^_^

My car will start hard ln cold weather20d cranks for long time starts then after couple min runs fine starts fine rest of day

I would start by changing spark plugs, if you haven't changed them in a while. If it has been wet there, raining frequently, then maybe spark plug wires too. That would maybe make sense why once it warms up and drys out it will start ok. I am not sure whether Subaru has the typical fuel pump problem or not, on my vehicle that I once had I turned the key on several times to cycle the fuel pump and my car seemed to start better. If that helps, it is just telled you that you better get the fuel pump replaced. Please rate my answer so I get points for it.

It won't die when pulling the relay because it has another power path to the fuel pump through the oil pressure switch . Fuel Pump Electrical Circuits Description and Operation watch this video on fuel pump control , shows chrysler first , ford ,then gm . wait for gm an he explains the oil pressure switch . Plus when it won't start ,don't guess or theorize ! Test what's missing ? check for spark , no spark check ignition system , coil's , ignition module , crank sensor etc... has spark ,do a fuel pressure test etc... don't think computer , when it won't start does the check engine light come on with the key on run not start . If light is lit ,nothing wrong with the cumputer . If want to fix cars you really should take some automotive classes . Test don't guess .Watch some other videos crank no start videos etc...

2000 GMC Safari AWD Suddenly won't start

I have a 2002 Safari with around 220k miles. I went out of town for several days and when I came back it would not start. I eventually got it started after about an hour. This happened again when I did not driver it for a week. This time I could not start the van. The fuel pump was spinning and it was getting gas. I took off the engine couling inside the van and inspected the rotor and cap. They were completely corroded. I put in an after market set for less than 30 bucks and the van started right up. I plan on getting the wires and plugs replaced but I don't think I want to do that myself due to tight access. Good luck.
