2010 f150 driver drl is out but the turn signal is still working, any ideas?

There are a few possible reasons why the driver's daytime running light (DRL) on a 2010 Ford F150 may be out while the turn signal is still working. One possibility is that the bulb for the DRL has burned out and needs to be replaced. Another possibility is that there is a problem with the wiring or connection for the DRL, which may require further inspection and repair.

It is also possible that there is an issue with the control module for the DRL system. The control module may need to be reset or replaced in order to restore proper function to the DRL.

In any case, it is recommended to have a qualified mechanic or technician diagnose and repair the issue with the DRL. Attempting to fix electrical issues without proper knowledge and tools can be dangerous and cause further damage to the vehicle.

I need to find the location of the DRL relay in a 2006 impala

The DRL - daytime running lamps relay is a PCB type relay - printed circuit board , soldered on the circuit board inside the under hood fuse box. The dealer would tell you that it is non serviceable an you need to replace the whole fuse / relay box. If you know how to solder on circuit boards replacement relay's can be found on the internet . Or if you know how to test electrical circuits ,have a wiring diagram for that circuit you can by pass with a external relay kit.

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) and Automatic Lamp Control (ALC)
The low beam headlamps are used for DRL operation at a reduced intensity. The DRLs will operate only while the engine is running and the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position. When the DRLs are ON, no other exterior lamps such as the parking lamps, tail lamps, etc. will be on when the DRL are being used. The instrument panel will not be illuminated either.
DRL operation is determined by the ambient light sensor and controlled by the body control module (BCM). The ambient light sensor is a light-sensitive transistor used to monitor outside lighting conditions. The BCM provides a 5-volt reference signal to the sensor while ground is provided at G202. The sensor will vary this voltage signal between 0.2 and 4.9 volts depending on outside lighting conditions. The BCM monitors the ambient light sensor signal circuit to determine if outside lighting conditions are correct for either DRL or ALC operation. When the BCM determines the conditions are met for DRL operation, it applies ground to the DRL relay control circuit energizing the DRL PCB Relay. With the relay energized, battery voltage is applied through the switch side of the relay, the DRL 1 fuse, a resistor wire to the DRL 2 fuse, both low beam headlamp fuses, and the low beam supply voltage circuits illuminating the headlamps at a reduced intensity. Any function or condition that turns on the headlamps will cancel DRL operation.
When the BCM detects low light conditions, it will turn OFF the daytime running lamps and turn ON the low beam headlamps as described above in Low Beam Headlamp Operation. The BCM will also turn ON the low beam headlamps in daylight conditions when the windshield wipers are turned ON.

Your best bet mite be to have a qualified repair shop check it out ,could DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the BCM - body control module . Like this one

DRL relay ?
The daytime running lamps (DRL) lights are controlled by the body control module (BCM) via the DRL relay when the headlamp and panel dimmer switch is the AUTO position.
The relay is feed by the IGNE fuse when the ignition switch is in the run and crank position, (the coil side of the relay), and the DRL fuse which is hot at all times. The DRL relay is controlled by the BCM based on the input form the ambient light sensor via CKT 592.
The relay supplies current to the lights through CKT 545 and ground through CKT 150 and ground G100.
The DRL lights are on when the vehicle ignition switch is in the run position, park brake is not set, daylight conditions exists and the transmission has been in drive before placing in park. The DRL lights are turned off when the headlamp and panel dimmer switch is turned to the park or head position or the input to the BCM from the ambient light sensor signals that daylight conditions does not exists any more.
The automatic lamp control (ALC) system and the DRL feature can be temporarily disabled by performing the following procedure:
Note: The ALC and DRL cannot be turned off on the Canadian vehicles and some early production vehicles.
Turn the ignition to RUN.
Press the DOME OVERRIDE button four times within six seconds.
A chime will sound informing you that the system is off. The system will remain disabled until the ignition is cycled off and then on or by pressing the DOME OVERRIDE button four more times within six seconds. The chime will sound again signaling that the system has been reactivated.

Where is the DRL module located on a 2003 GMC Savana 1500?

There is no DRL module .
Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)
The DRL are a function of the front turn signal lamps. The DRL will operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the gear selector is not in the PARK position, and the headlamp switch is in the OFF position. When the BCM receives these signals it will signal the turn/hazard flasher module to turn on the DRL by grounding the DRL low control signal. The turn/hazard flasher module supplies voltage to the DRL on the right and left DRL/turn supply voltage circuits. If a front turn signal lamp is inoperative the DRL will not operate.
The DRL can be deactivated by turning the headlamp switch to the DRL OFF position while the DRL are operating. The DRL defeat position of the headlamp switch is a momentary ground signal to the BCM to command the DRL function ON or OFF. After each key cycle the BCM will default to the DRL ON function.

On my 1999 Olds Intrigue I have never had to turn on my lights at night. All night time driving lights come on automatically until recently. Now only the headlights come on.To get the dash lights,tail...

Without testing i would say you have DRL control module problem , But that would just be a guess .
In the night mode, the DRL ambient light sensor senses darkness. Then, the DRL module turns off the front turn lamps and turns on the headlamps through circuit 10. The DRL module also turns on the park, side marker, license, and tail lamps. If the engine should stall with the DRL control module in the night mode, the DRL control module will turn off the headlamps and leave the side marker, park, license and tail lamps on while the engine is being cranked. The headlamp switch operates as usual.
The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control module is designed to automatically operate exterior lights depending on outside light conditions. The DRL control module operates in two modes, the day mode and the night mode. In the day mode, the DRL ambient light sensor senses daylight. Then, the DRL control module turns on the front turn lamps (non-flashing) if under the following conditions:
• The ignition switch is on.
• The headlamps switch is in the OFF position.
• The park brake is released.

The brightness of the Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) displays is controlled by two signals: the park lamps on signal (circuit 230) and the VF dimming signal (circuit 308). With the park lamps on, the VF display of the radio, heater, A/C control (with RPO CJ2) and the instrument cluster will dim for nighttime viewing. When the park lamps on signal is not present (park lamps off), the VF displays are at high brightness for daytime viewing. When the park lamps are on, the I/P lamp dimmer switch provides a signal (VF Dimming Signal circuit 308) which controls the brightness of the VF displays when the I/P lamp dimmer switch is adjusted.

Daytime running lights , bypass switch

The switch is automatic when you turn the car on. DRL stay lit as long as it is not dusk, once dusk the DRL automatically turn off and headlights turn on. Camaros are made in Canada, and DRL are universal throughout North America. What is happening is that the shed where the inspection is taking place is dark enough to simulate dusk , and the photocell is turning off the DRL and turning on the headlights. Someone at the inspection station is misinformed. DRL D=Daytime not Nighttime, which the darkness in the shed is simulating.

I own a 1997 chevy lumina, when I turn the car off the park lights and tail lights stay on, as well as the beeping alarm in the car, the only way to get the lights off is to disconnect the battery, it has...

it has command start ???? Is this some kind of aftermarket add on ? This shouldn't have anything to do with the running lamps . unless someone hooked something up in correctly . Does the car have DRL - day time running lamps ? The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control module is designed to automatically operate exterior lights depending on outside light conditions.
The DRL control module operates in 2 modes:
• The day mode
In the day mode, the DRL control module turns ON the high beam headlamps at a reduced intensity when the DRL ambient light sensor detects daylight under the following conditions:
- The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
- The headlamps are OFF.
- The park brake is OFF (released).
• The low light mode
In the low light mode, the DRL ambient light sensor detects darkness, turning OFF the high beam headlamps and turning ON the low beam headlamps through circuit 10.
Additionally, the DRL ambient light sensor turns ON the following lamps through circuit 9:
- The park lamps
- The sidemarker lamps
- The license lamps
- The tail lamps
