Does my 98 Rodeo have a timing belt or a timing chain?
Hi:
You are definitely due for a timing belt if you havent done so.
Shop prices vary a lot, so I hope you have someone you trust....non the less, your 98 rodeo has a timing belt...and it is good money spent, to also replace your waterpump and tensioner too.
All of the parts can be purchased for about $125, and often the entire job can be taken care of in a shop for about $200 labor, but I would shop around a bit...
Hi kbmccabe1, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Which engine do you have and does it have AC? Are you looking for the belt routing diagram?
