I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE. I TOOK OUT THE REAR PANELS INSIDE THE TRUNK. FIRST, START WITH THE LOWER CENTER PANEL RIGHT WHERE THE LOCKING LATCH IS LOCATED. THEN, MOVE TO THE LEFT PANELS ON THE SIDES OF THE INSIDE OF THE TRUNK. ONCE YOU HAVE TAKEN OUT THE PANELS, THERE'S A SILVER BOX IN THE TRUNK WITH A "PK 0000" NUMBER PRINTED ON A STICKER. THAT "PK" NUMBER IS YOUR CODE.
IT'S NOT AS BAD AS YOU MIGHT THINK TO TAKE OUT THE PANELS, I DID IT IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND THEY ALL GO BACK IN AS EASY AS THEY CAME OUT. JUST TRY NOT TO FORCE ANYTHING BACK IN IT'S PLACE.
HOPE THIS HELPS.

It seems that this is a common problem with blackberrys.
Take a look at this forum, it seems the issue is related to password protection and encryption.

Hi, from the detailed explanation you have given so far concerning your BMW Z4M and your N97 mini coupled with the fact that you were guided by the BMW instruction on how to pair the car with phone, it seems clear the fault is from the BMW bluetooth if it is not getting to the BLUETOOTH PAIRING stage as you have said.
I will urge you to try and pair the car with another bluetooth enabled phone and let us see what the result will be like. If it other phone does not get to the BLUETOOTH PAIRING stage just like it did with the N97 mini, that will certainly confirm my notion about the BMW bluetooth problem, but if you successfully pair the other phone with the BMW and the N97 mini is still not pair-able, then there is a compatibility issue between the BMW and you N97 mini.
Which means you have to see a BMW dealer to rectify it....

You might want to try LENDOG15's suggestion to find the passcode on the panels inside the trunk. Otherwise, maybe trying "4321" or "2006" or "6002". I think the message using "BMW 40391" connotes a number it is associating with your Samsung phone using a random number, but that's just a guess
