Pairing samsung galaxy 3

Phone says can not communicate with BMW 40391 I can't not get it to pair used pass ode 0000 and 1234

  • Anonymous Apr 14, 2014

You might want to try LENDOG15's suggestion to find the passcode on the panels inside the trunk. Otherwise, maybe trying "4321" or "2006" or "6002". I think the message using "BMW 40391" connotes a number it is associating with your Samsung phone using a random number, but that's just a guess

You need to find the bluetooth pairing code in your factory BMW manuals, it is on a sticker inside the sound system manual. Or if you cant find that, it is on the sticker on the bluetooth control module in the trunk, behind the trim panels.

SOURCE: passkey of the bluetooth

I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE. I TOOK OUT THE REAR PANELS INSIDE THE TRUNK. FIRST, START WITH THE LOWER CENTER PANEL RIGHT WHERE THE LOCKING LATCH IS LOCATED. THEN, MOVE TO THE LEFT PANELS ON THE SIDES OF THE INSIDE OF THE TRUNK. ONCE YOU HAVE TAKEN OUT THE PANELS, THERE'S A SILVER BOX IN THE TRUNK WITH A "PK 0000" NUMBER PRINTED ON A STICKER. THAT "PK" NUMBER IS YOUR CODE.
IT'S NOT AS BAD AS YOU MIGHT THINK TO TAKE OUT THE PANELS, I DID IT IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND THEY ALL GO BACK IN AS EASY AS THEY CAME OUT. JUST TRY NOT TO FORCE ANYTHING BACK IN IT'S PLACE.
HOPE THIS HELPS. LEONARD-

It seems that this is a common problem with blackberrys.

Take a look at this forum, it seems the issue is related to password protection and encryption.

SOURCE: I have a 2007 BMW

Hi, from the detailed explanation you have given so far concerning your BMW Z4M and your N97 mini coupled with the fact that you were guided by the BMW instruction on how to pair the car with phone, it seems clear the fault is from the BMW bluetooth if it is not getting to the BLUETOOTH PAIRING stage as you have said.
I will urge you to try and pair the car with another bluetooth enabled phone and let us see what the result will be like. If it other phone does not get to the BLUETOOTH PAIRING stage just like it did with the N97 mini, that will certainly confirm my notion about the BMW bluetooth problem, but if you successfully pair the other phone with the BMW and the N97 mini is still not pair-able, then there is a compatibility issue between the BMW and you N97 mini. Which means you have to see a BMW dealer to rectify it....

I purchased a used 2004 BMW 325ci. When I try to pair with the bluetooth it comes over the speaker saying your verizon account is no longer active. This is obviously from the previous owner. How do I...

Do you have the owner's manual for your 325ci? If so, have you checked the phone pairing section? The button on the steering wheel is probably not for pairing but rather for using the phone. Most likely you need to pair through some sequence of buttons/menus from the infotainment system.

How do i connect my mobile with my x type jaguars phone system

If there is no mobile phone Paired to the
vehicle system and the SIG screen is
displayed, Pairing may be performed as
follows:
Select Phone Mode (if not already
selected).
Use touch-screen keypad to enter the
following digit sequence and press the
Send/End button.
The following sequence performs exactly
the same function, but times-out after
approximately five minutes, ##1#*#.
(If you are not familiar with the Pairing
process, this sequence is NOT
Recommended, because of the time-out
period.)
At the SIG**** screen the vehicle system
is waiting for communication with a
Bluetooth equipped telephone.
Check that your mobile phone is set to the
Jaguar Bluetooth system, using the menu
functions on the phone. Refer to the
handbook that was supplied with your
specific mobile phone.
When Jaguar device is found on the
mobile phone display, the phone will
prompt you to enter the pass key (1313)
on the mobile phone keypad.
When the above operation has been
completed and the phone is successfully
Paired and connected with the vehicle
system, the SIG* screen will be displayed.

All bluetooth connectivity stopped with my 2010 Equinox. Icon will not display and cannot pair any devices.

The picture Im sending you is the information on your vehicle based on what I can get from General motors tech website to inform you if your intstructions in owners manual are unable to correct your situation. There really no way to quick fix the issue.here is the page information; Before reading note there are unavailable sections or links because it is pasted from a General motors page unavailable to public.
You are looking at a trip to General motors unfortunately unless you can find a shop with a tech 2 scan tool.

Circuit/System Description
The Bluetooth ® antenna is a small fixed antenna connected directly to the telematics communication interface control module and is used to send and receive signals from a Bluetooth ® enabled cellular phone. The antenna utilizes no cabling and is not external to the vehicle.
In order to use hands-free calling, the cellular phone must be paired to the vehicle. Up to five devices can be paired to the vehicle at one time, but only one can be connected at any given time. To pair a phone, the customer must know how to operate the Bluetooth ® functionality of their phone. The pairing process must only be done one time for each phone, unless that phone’s information is deleted. For safety reasons, the pairing process is disabled while the vehicle is moving.
Diagnostic Aids • The purpose of this diagnostic is to verify the ability of the telematics communication interface control module to pair to a Bluetooth ® device. • Before performing this test, verify compatibility of the cellular phone(s) the customer is attempting to use with the vehicle. Based on the cellular phone’s service provider and the manufacturer’s implementation of Bluetooth ®, not all phones support all available Bluetooth ® functionality. A vehicle and feature compatibility list will be provided via the GM Bluetooth ® website: http://www.gm.com/vc/bluetooth/ • If the vehicle passes the following tests and a compatible device is being used, the concern may be due to a device malfunction or an incomplete/improper pairing attempt. • A Bluetooth ® test tool or equivalent can also be used to verify the ability of the customers cellular phone(s) to pair with another device.
