so.. from engine to pump it is on all cars. a fast look and ahhhhhhhhh
start the car and double check with the multimeter...it should be 13.8 volts the readind on the multimeter....if not charging then take out the wheel so that u have an access to take it out the alternator...
Ok ,start by looking in the door opening. look at the acordion style conduit, you will need a test light for this ,pull back the rubber and with the ignition on start probing the wires inside of it.
I'am thinking ,broken wires
Check fuses first. If fuse is blown check wiring diagram for what is on that circuit and unplug things one at a time until it no longer has the problem. Probably intermittent if it is. Call Nissan and check for service bulletins/recalls.
could be the starter. you can either tap it with a hammer then try to start it . but you need to replace it. you can also take starter out and have tested free at autozone.
This def sounds like a fule pump issue ...it should be located in the gas tank its self although i would check the fuses first before getting into the tank.
If this is in a 240sx the way into the tank is through the trunk.Lift the carpet and you will see on the mid right side a small 6-8" lid with some wires going into it. Unscrew that and your on your way in.
If you do pull out the pump just be careful handling it as to not break the sensor unit attached to the pump.
