It is likely you have air in the system. Park on an incline, take the radiator cap off, start the car, let it warm up until the thermostat opens, fill the radiator until it stops going down. See if that doesn't get you some hot air. If not, try the other steps I have in my post at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6235876-no_heat_fan_blowing_cold_air . These are generic instructions. Common Jeep problem. Blend doors are either jammed or broken. Dashboard removal is require to repair.

I would recommend flushing the cooling system and replacing the thermostat.....easy to do and only about $14 for a new thermostat.If that does not work then you either have a coolant leak somewhere or a bad heater core. I would also pressure test your cooling system before you flush the system to look for leaks in the system

You have the blend doors problem which needs to be fixed. At jeep it is about £1300, by EDM in bicester it is £255 and maintains dual control. I would imagine the recirc dooe is or soon will go as well.

You will need to recharge your system , go to the nearest parts store and buy what ever brand that is recomended, and attach it to the lower air conditioning recharge valve.

If the air blows normally but warm, then you need to check the compressor and its gas. you might have a leakage.

I agree, these vehicles have a problem with the blend doors and since the accuators hit the door when it opens and closes, it breaks the doors. and it's a huge job to replace them.

Try recharging the AC unit.
