How to remove a starter motor peugeot 207

Before getting to the removal process, make sure that you have enough time and the tools at hand, and then disconnect the battery.
You will need spanners sized at 10, 11, 12, and 14 millimeters, an eight-millimeter socket, eight milimeter Allen bolt, and small torque.
Next, get to the starter motor under the hood, beneath the diesel filter.
It can difficult to unmount it because there is barely enough room, that's why this process alone can take up to four hours.
First, unwind the starter bolts located under the hood, then do the bolts below. It goes without saying that you need your car to be raised.
Once the motor is loose, remove the wiring from the engine that may hinder the job.
Make a note of all parts and remember where they belong to help you easily reattach the motor once you have fixed the issue.

Replacing a starter on a 1993 volvo 940 turbo. Is this a difficult task?

It looks easy for the 940 but I am not sure about the 940 turbo, as maybe some of the turbo parts are in the way. I'm not sure about that, since there is no documentation on the turbo model vs. the 940 standard model. If you can follow the following instructions, then I would give it a whirl.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 1993 Volvo 940
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery.
  2. Disconnect the leads from the starter motor.
  3. Remove the starter motor retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the starter motor from the vehicle. To install:
  5. Position the starter motor to the flywheel housing.
  6. Apply locking compound to the bolt threads and install the retaining bolts finger-tight.
  7. Tighten the bolts to approximately 25 ft. lbs. (34 Nm).
  8. Connect the starter motor leads and the negative battery cable. Fig. 1: Unfasten the nut retaining the starter cables . . . 90952p12.jpg

Location of the starer on a 93 accura legend

Hello! The starter on a 1993 Legend is very well hidden. It is behind the left drive axle.

I'll give you the removal steps to give you a better idea.

Disconnect the wires from the starter motor solenoid...

Unbolt the bracket from the starter motor...

Remove the left drive axle (see chapter 8 in a Haynes repair manual)

Remove the forward section of the exhaust system (chapter 4)

Remove the starter mounting bolts and carefully maneuver the starter motor from under the vehicle.

As you can see this is a very difficult job.

Good luck.

Starter - Removal & Installation

The starter motor on some models is very difficult to see from the top of engine compartment as it is covered by the intake manifold. On these models, without removing the intake manifold, the starter motor must be removed from underneath the vehicle. Because the starter motor mounting bolts are not easy to access, a long extension with a universal joint mounted on a proper sized socket could be used. A three foot transmission extension is commercially available from tool vendors that has a 3 / 8 inch drive of the driven end and 1 / 2 inch drive on the drive end. If used with a non-binding impact universal joint and a proper fitting impact socket, the starter motor fasteners can be removed from underneath the vehicle.
Once the starter motor fasteners are removed, the starter motor may have to be moved side-to-side several times to loosen the dowel pin if it has corroded in place.

NOTE When the battery is disconnected, the radio code, on-board computer and clock settings will be lost. The radio code should be obtained before disconnecting the battery or radio. Once the battery has been reconnected, the radio will not function unless the code is keyed in.

Need easiest way to change the starter motor on a 98 2.5 td cherokee

Not difficult...remove the battery cable on the battery, remove the bolts that hold the starter to the engine. Remove the two wires on the starter (if more than two, mark them so you put them back correctly.
Reverse process to install. If vehicle will not start after you are finished, close all doors, lock the drivers door with your key, then unlock...this re-sets security system.
