The two codes are unrelated. For the p1456 code, try tightening the gas cap.

P0705 Honda - Short In Transmission Range Switch Circuit


Possible causes
- Faulty Park/Neutral Position Switch
- Misadjusted Park/Neutral Position Switch
- Park/Neutral Position Switch harness is open or shorted
- Park/Neutral Position Switch circuit poor electrical connection

the switch can be insane expensive. so i test them or clean them inside, fixed many ,and saved $200

P0705 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit malfunction (PRNDL Input). It means something is wrong this sensor, take your car to a Transmission Shop to further diagnose the problem.

Just because your Check Engine light came on doesn't mean there's something wrong at all. Various Mechanical functions are timed by the Manufacture to signify Servicing required.
