Turn signal flashes in wrong section of housing on passenger side only.

When the turn signal is on it does flash but in the wrong section completely. If I apply the brakes when right turn signal is active it stops flashing and I noticed that the turn signal indicator lamp in the dash cluster is illuminated. When the brake pedal pressure is removed it starts to flash again. Any ideas?!?

SOURCE: 96 Honda Odyssey brake trouble

I'm pretty sure that vehicle will have a vacuum booster for brake assist and it may be failing or you may have cracked or loose vacuum line.
Another possibility is a defective vacuum reservoir; a canister device, sometimes metal, sometimes plastic that supplies a bit of vacuum in case the engine shuts down.

Normally mounted on the firewall under the hood, the booster shouldn't be tough to replace and appears to be a metal drum, often with the master cylinder assembly directly attached.

Checking the operation of the power brake assist is easy; with the engine off, press firmly on the brake pedal and note whether it sinks noticeably when you start the engine.
If it does, then the vacuum booster is working, if not all the time.
Considering the random nature of the problem, I would try this several times to see if the resulting drop in pedal height is constant or not.

SOURCE: Dashboard brake lamp flashes while driving but not while braking

i have replaced a few caps with the floats attached.
inplug the wire to the cap and see if the light quits blinking, if so replace the cap. dont leave it unpluged it could cause problems.
make sure its full enough of brake fluid.

SOURCE: brakes do not completely release at times,

Might be bad brake lines if front (the rubber ones). When they get old they collapse when you apply the brakes and they won't let the brake fluid go back to the master cylinder until the pop back open.

I have a 2003 ford windstar with the airbag light on. Flashes code 35. Is this something I can fix?

Codes 32 to 35

These codes are signaled by three flashes, a two-second pause and the number of flashes that corresponds to the second digit. Code 32 (triple flash, pause, two flashes) means the driver side airbag has a circuit open or with high resistance, Code 33 (triple flash, pause, two flashes) means the passenger side airbag has a circuit open or with high resistance, Code 34 (triple flash, pause, four flashes) means the driver side airbag has a shorted circuit or one with low resistance and Code 35 (triple flash, pause, five flashes) means the passenger side airbag has a shorted circuit or one with low resistance.

I personally would let some one who knows what they are doing look at it. Grounding or feeding the wrong wire could set off an air bag and hurt someone.

I hard wired my light housing and now my turn signal will stay on but it wont blink

Either its a problem with the resistance of the circuit or what i suspect is a flasher unit fault ,i have had this in the past where the hazard switch is faulty and doesnt connect the right connections inside the switch and this causes the problem but when it goes neither side will flash ,if you had wired it up wrong then it would flash very fast and a dim light .

I have a 2000 maxima...when headlights are on, passenger side blinker stays lit on the dash and doesn't flash at all. While the headlights are off and i turn the passenger turn signal on it then b

Plain and simple...Your turn signal circuit is shorted to your headlamp circuit. What USUALLY causes this is an incorrect light bulb has been installed in the vehicle or the light bulb was installed incorrectly. There are other possible causes of these circuits being shorted together, but 99 out of 100 of the times that I have seen this it is either because somebody just replaced a bulb or a bulb socket melted somwhere on the car. Be sure to check both the front AND rear bulbs.
