Car went into Transmission Faisfafe Prog.

I was driving normally when suddenly the car lost most of its power. The radio turned off and when I stopped at a stop sign, I could barely muster the power to turn left and proceed. I was about a mile from home when it happened so I made it safely but now that I'm home, the car won't start at all. Trans. Failsafe Prog. was the message.

I had a new battery on mine and that solved it.... Even if the voltage is 0.5 volts out, it can cause the comp to fail and bring up ghost errors which trip the fail safe programs in to action.... But mine would still start, if i turned mine off it would run fine for 15-120 mins and would trip in to fail safe again.(My battery should be able to cope with a 200amp load for 15mins, when tested it lasted only 30secs... New battery and Sorted. Craig

Car shuts down when you push the brake and it resets the radio.

The first thing that comes to mind for the radio is loose wiring. You didn't mention whether it was aftermarket or stock? You might want to check whether any trouble codes have been stored for the engine stalling issue.

Error Code P0562 and P0700

I'm surprised they did not try to sell you an alternator.
Code 562 is for battery voltage below spec, and code 700 is a generic code for a problem with the transmission.
Based on the two codes, you would need to first have the alternator tested, and then have someone check out the performance of the transmission. Code 562 could cause code 700.

My car turns off while driving ? now it won't start

Let us assume you have not run out of fuel and the fuel gauge is ok.

Normally cars do not stop suddenly if battery is the issue. Could be the alternator but you have installed a new battery. The fuel system seems to be the problem. Could be blocked fuel pump.

Why did my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe sudden lost power while driving?

what happened when you tried jumping the car? sounds like it could be a bad ignition switch since only non-switched things work.

Stereo stopped working along with speedometer

It's probably not a fuse. It sounds like your vehicle speed sensor went bad in the transmission. The reason your radio stopped working was because your radio is probably equipped with speed sensitive volume and it requires a speed signal to work.
