Torque specs needed

The camshaft cap torque specifications for a 2013 3.5 Maxima are as follows:

• Camshaft Cap Bolts: 106 inch-pounds (12 Nm)

It is important to note that when tightening the bolts, you should follow a specific tightening sequence to ensure that the camshaft cap is evenly and securely fastened. It is also recommended to use a calibrated torque wrench to achieve the correct torque specifications.

1. Hand start all the camshaft bearing cap bolts.
2. Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts in sequence to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Loosen the center intake camshaft bearing cap bolts 1, 2 and the center exhaust camshaft bearing cap bolts 3, 4.
4. Retighten the center camshaft bearing cap bolts 1, 2, 3, 4 to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

SOHC V6 Torque Specs Camshaft sprocket bolt: (E/MWM)
Left: 63 lb-ft
Right:LHT 63 lb-ft or 45 lb-ft if using 6485 socket extension
Camshaft bearing cap bolt: (E/MWM)
Step 1: 53 lb-in
