Unplug your oxygen sensor and see if the problem continues. I there is no change I would check the oxygen sensor circuit for faults, fuse, line etc. You may change the sensor and still have the fault.

P0304 misfire losing power especially going uphill.

Question edited. It is 'P-Zero', not 'P-Letter Oh'.

Help in the link. By substitution and swapping the parts you have, you can work out what part is faulty, or just take it to an auto-electrician.

2002 kia rio flashing codes P0036 and P0304

A P0304 code means that the the car's computer has detected that one of the engine'scylinders is not firing properly. In this case it's cylinder #4. Fuel is not burning -- could be flooding.

Engines use O2 sensors to monitor polultant level. The oxygen sensors used a heated circuit to warm up the sensor for faster feedback operation to the computer. The oxygen sensor may use three or four wires depending on the vehicle, two are usually used for the sensor feedback to the computers (Powertrain Control Module (PCM) / Engine Control Module (ECM) ) and the other wires are for the heater to power the heat circuit. Three wire sensors are usually grounded through the exhaust system, and four wire sensors have a seperate ground wire.
The P0036 code refers to the sensor after the catalytic converter The heater circuit may be supplied power or ground from the PCM/ECM or another source that can be controlled by the PCM/ECM.

The oxygen sensor may get coated up due to improper grade of fuel (low octane vs high octane Nisson for example). When this occurs the cat converters get contaminated. the sensor will recognize too much fuel or excess contaminants.
A inexpensive method to clear the problem is to run the engine for 2 or 3 tanks of high octane.
The next step is to personally replace the oxygen sensor - use and after market on or one from the wrecker.
Another cause if these elements failing, is the the fuel injectors are partially clogged and not allowing correct atomization of the fuel to the cylinder and therefore will not fire well and excess fuel. through to the sensors.
Another cause is that the spark plugs have failed.
I suggest:
So do the inexpesive things first: spark plugs, concentrated fuel injector cleaner for at least 3 tanks and then every 3rd thereafter, then O2 sensor replace. It may take a while for all things to work as they should- but they will.

I own a 02 kio rio and while it runs it shakes alot and when i turn the air or eat on it shakes the engine even moreand on occasion it shuts off when stopped at light or stop sign. Whats the deal with...

Your check engine light should be on. First thing to do is pull the codes and see what has been set. Then the diagnosis can continue from there.

Car want pulls hills or any inclines vey well 2005

P0304 code is a cylinder 4 misfire. If the plugs or wires are bad it will cause a decrease in power. I suggest changing the plugs and wires and see if that helps.

Kio Rio 04 model

need to run diagnostic codes, this will tell what the problem is, generally it will turn out to be a bad wheel sensor, and the diagnostics will point you to the right one. Once you not what code your getting check connectors at each when and then clear codes. If the same code is recorded again replace the wheel sensor indicated by diagnostics.
