Replaced a dead cluster and now cluster works but no dash lights. (I don't know if they worked before as I just bought the car)
CHECK FUSES FIRST . IF ALL FUSES ARE OK CHECK LIGHTS SWITCH AND DIMING POTENSIOMETER. U MUST HAVE POWER AT A 0.35MM GRAY-BLUE WIRE.IF U NEED MORE INFO LET ME KNOW!!

I HAVE A 98 CHEROKEE ,4.0 , I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM , I REPLACED THE COMPUTER WITH A USED ONE FROM THE JUNKYARD , THE GAUGES WORK FINE NOW, I HOPE THIS HELPS ,,,

i would check the grounding wires. have you tried going to higher ampage on the fuse? There is definitely a short somewhere

Check the fuses. sometimes when you charge a battery it will blow a fuse. Hope this helps.
