Dash lights come on with a chime and go off

Twice I have had the all the dash light come on and there is chime like no seat belt chime and go off while Jeep is running. Happen about 6 months apart. Happened as I was stopping to park. Only last a few seconds. Seems to run fine. At 99,150 miles. Just had it tooled to computer and was told it needed 100,000 mile tune up but wasn't told anything else was wrong except for computer board that causes back hatch not to lock.

How can I get my seat belt chime to work? The light on the dash works. Should I be looking fr a fuse?

The chime is normally a small looking relay in the fuse panel assembly under the dash. Is your light coming off when you insert your buckle? If it does, your chime is bad and needs replaced if you want to hear it. Sorry I couldnt be more help, try buying a junkyard chime to test or if you have a volt tester check for power and ground circuits at the chime junction location. The chime like I said looks like a relay but has a tiny plastic speaker inside it.

Seat belt chime will not stop going off even after i am buckled up

disconnect that sucker from under the seat. Look under the seat ( move it all the way forward it will easier) find the seat belt buckle there will be a wire coming off it. follow the wire to the connection then disconnect it. no more chime. or light on the dash either

6 chimes when starting

these chimes are in fact warning codes, these chimes are telling you there is a problem, It may be a connection problem in your seat belt warning system to a serious engine problem, your dealer will know just by the tune it plays but check your seat belt first and then the dash warning lights

Seat belt chime not working.

there is a tiny little box under the driver side dash that makes the sound.
No easy way to tell you exactly where it is, but it's under there.

Why are my dash lights flashing on a 1990 honda accord?

I suggest you check all the instrument panel grounds. You will need a factory wiring digrams fo rthis, so try and find a used factopry repair manual on eBay is my suggestion as fixya has no wiring dioragrams or repair manuals on file for this car

2010 Dodge Challenger. Seat belt light on dash remains on and chime sounds while belt is buckeled

The belt buckle sensor might be unplugged under the seat. Or the wiring or switch it self may be broken.

Does my 2000 jimmy SLE have a seat belt chime! dont know as i dont have the manual! and i just have a light on the dash and if so where is the chime located? thanks dont need a ticket for no belt!!

Yes it should be under the left side of the dash above where your left foot would be. If you hear a bell when the key is in the switch with the door open, then the wire for the seatbelt may be cut.

you could push some thing into the female end like an old blockbuster card or equivelent to depress the switch inside so it thinks your seat belt is on
