Car had very cold AC, then after using the heat one morning, it start having hot air all the time, even when I turn the temp down to 65 with AC on max, the AC comes on and the condenser and lines get cold and sweaty but it still blows hot air inside the car, Could someone please help me with this problem. Well thinking about the problem there e a flap in the vent pipes to shut off theatre and ac unit perhaps something has got in the pipe and stopping it closing or perhaps your heater control is US and needs replaceing . ( but I take it you have turned your heater to cold )

the a/c condenser has a fan in front ( there is actually 2 fans if you sit on the car it will be fan on right side ) if this fan does not
come on immediately when you are parked and engine in idle
there is a problem with power to it, or motor failure. If you drive it
on the highway and a/c operates fine that's because air is circulating though condenser (thats what the fan is supposed to do at idle or slow traffic)

Hi, the likely problem is a bubble forming in the system, possibly due to a head gasket failure.
Try stopping on a steep incline--does the heater stay warm? If yes, what you have is an air bubble that hangs at the heater hose until pressure from the water pump blows thru it as the engine speeds up. Park on an incline, open the radiator cap, run the engine until the thermostat is open, turn the heater on, crack open any/all bleed ports to release any trapped air, and fill the radiator to the neck. Wait until the level stops dropping and make sure bubbles don't continue to come up. If they do, you may have a blown head gasket that will keep forming these bubbles until you change the gasket.
In this type of situation you must have the AC system pressures tested to make sure the system has a full charge. A low charge can cause these types of symptoms. You will need a set of AC gauges to do this test, about $50-$100 depending on brand and quality
