At what mileage do I change the plugs on a 1.2 fiat punto, 56 plate? It is a fiat punto active

the ideal way in changing plugs is to replace it every time you change your engine oil, which is aroung 10,000 kms or 6 months (depending on the oil used). but to save some money, you can always check first the condition of your plugs if it really needs to be changed.

you can check the condition of your plugs by removing it from the cylinder head and checking its contacts:
1. if the contact is brownish in color, then your plug is still perfectly fine.
2. if it is not brown, there is either something wrong in your plug or your engine. so this will be a good time to replace your plugs.

*** tip - when changing your spark plugs, always replace all of them at the same time with the same model and same brand. this technique will ensure that your plugs will be consistent in providing spark always.
