The crankshaft sensor can cause instant engine shut down when it fails. Did the dealership check for fault codes?

Is the "service engine" light on at all?
If so, what codes are present.
Have you checked the EGR valve. If the valve is stuck, the engine will idle very poorly. You can remove it and clean the carbon deposites and make sure it moves freely.
The EVAP purge solenoid will also cause an idle problem but should show up as a service engine light problem.
Let me know.

SOURCE: 1987 Chevy Suburban 350 2wd not starting or running right

What size engine do you have in it? And, how many miles on it?? Well, I guess it really doesn't matter. At first thought it sounds like you are experienceing a fuel problem, and changing the throttlebody didn't solve your problem. I would start by looking and checking my fuel delivery system. The fact that you had to spray gas into the throttlebody tells me that fuel is not getting there. I would start with the least expensive thing to fix first. Check your gas filters. These are often , OFTEN, overlooked as a sorce of problems, and are rarely changed and often overlooked, and are the problem alot of the time. If that dosen't cure your problem check your fuel pump. Make sure it is delivering the proper pressure. I would bet your problem would be solved, but if it's not then next I would check the electrical components of your fuel system.

SOURCE: right off idle truck stumbles and will die if you

its time to stop wasting money guessing and verify if parts are good/ bad. ck fuel pressure, and check the tps (Throttle Position Sensor) , see if it runs better with the EGR valve disconnected. If it does, replace it Use only AC DELCO parts they will need number off old EGR valve usually starts with 17------. NOT from ottozone or others.

SOURCE: 2002 gmc envoy stalls when turning and slowing down

I am going to assume the check engine light is not on.
I would check the throttle body to see if it needs to be cleaned, and check the idle air control valve to see if it is working. The computer controls idle speed by the amount of air coming into the throttle body.
The ac problem is probably something different such as low freon or a cooling fan problem.

2000 Dodge Neon shudders, dies when at stop die then shakes to when taking off.

Clean Throttle Body and MAF (mass air flow sensor). Classic symptoms of bad idle. The throttle body isn't shutting properly and letting air in. At highway speed it is fine because the throttle is purposely open.

My 2003 grand am just died going down highway i removed the boot from carb water and oil mixture came out head bad?

Common problem with that motor is the intake gaskets fail. It could be that but in reality it sounds like head gaskets are gone

How do I do a throttle body replacement relearn on a 04 isuzu ascender

The relearn is done by unhooking the battery for 30-60 minutes. With all HVAC OFF, hook the battery back up and drive your Ascender around for about 40 min or so, at this time, it will relearn. To test it, stop the vehicle put it in park and turn your AC on, if your car doesn't show signs of boggin down or trying to die on you, your relearn was done correctly. This is all assuming that your throttle body is CLEAN!!! If it's not clean, your idle will be bad and engine will try and die on you at idle when your AC or Defroster are on. Relearn should of already been done---> you always disconnect the battery when cleaning the throttle body, as to not to damage the stepper motor that moves the butterfly. To properly clean the throttle body and for best results, always remove the entire throttle body and clean BOTH sides with a sensor safe spray like Seafoam and a rag or nylon brush, you can reuse the hard plastic gasket. Hope this helps!

When i start the truck it just dies right away i can keep it started by reving it but it dies when i stop.

These trucks have a problem with the IAC idle air control first you need to take that off and clean it. Its the silver round sensor on the throttle body. Two bolts attach it to the throttle body. You should be getting a check engine light if that is bad or dirty. If not, Clean your throttle body out use throttle body cleaner only. one of these are your problem.I would clean both anyway. Changed Battery and Cables...now the car dies at idle every time.

Better take a close look at all your vacuum lines first. One might have gotten pulled off during the installation of your battery. Have someone sit in it and keep it running while you wiggle lines around and listen for a hiss. Good luck.

1991 Dodge Dakota dies when shifting from park

If it runs down highway fine, but just stalls when off throttle, turning, heater on, etc., I'd pull I.A.C. motor off and clean with throttle body cleaner & retry it. Clean port it came out of at same time too. if it cures it even temporarily, and does it again, replace IAC motor.

Jeep stalls

I had the same problem... frustrating.

I picked up a repair manual at the parts store. I took off the throttle body and cleaned it with throttle body cleaner spray. I changed the Idle Air Control Valve (idle speed motor) which was very clogged. While I had the throttle body off I also changed the Map Sensor and Throttle Position Sensor. The manual will walk you through the steps. I had never done anything like this before. If I can do you so can you.
My Jeep has never run better. Good Luck
