It appears that the pivot for the pedal and the bushes have become unattached to the bracket. have an accredited repair shop look at it

SOURCE: Emergency break pedal stuck to floor, but break is disengaged

sounds like your brake cable has broken or there is something damaged in the pedal assembly.........try pulling on the release handle and move the e-brake pedal back to its off position by hand at the same time.(you may have to tie it in this position to keep it up)If that doesnt work there is a sensor on the pedal assembly that you should be able to bypass by either disconecting the wire(1 wire system) or connecting the two wires together (2 wire system)Especially if your truck is a standard the e-brake is an important safety feature,so if these steps fix the light and dinging problem you should still take the steps to have it repaired.
hope this helps.........Good Luck!

May be the clutch master or slave cylinder. Has the fluid level gone down at all? Have a look around the clutch pedal area for signs of fluid leakage. Good luck, Bob.

SOURCE: clutch pedal went to the floor but did not come

there is a plastic clip that connects the clutch pedal to the rod that goes to the master cylinder, chances are that it let go. Bad thing is that it is only available from GM along with the rod. It is around 50

Anybody know how to get into the bonnet if the release catch cable has snapped at the bonnet end? Audi A3, 1.8Tfsi 2007 (57 reg).

Can you see the end of the cable through the front grille? On some vehicles you can use a extra long flat screwdriver to push the release through the front grille.
Some S3 and A3 models have a small access hole between the bonnet and grille. A thin wire hook and a lot of poking around can release the bonnet.
if this doesn't work you might have to destroy the front grille to get access.

Hello everyone having similar sort of issues , any help would be much appreciated ,, trouble with my 04 plate a3 2.0 tdi , the car loses power in first and second makes a lot of noise but doesn't really go anywhere but if ease completely off and back on again the turbo kicks in properly it also won't go over 4000 rpm unless I go off and on the throttle any help would be greatly appreciated also I took the vacuum resivour pipe off whilst checking a few things and it cured it until I was cruising down the motorway and it just lost all power so I stopped and put vacuum resivour pipe back on and after about 15 mins the vacuum must have built back up again because it was back to just being useless in 1st and 2nd gear ..???????? 2004 Audi A3 power windows and central locking have stopped working, are these on the same fuse!!!

Yes they are on the same fuse. If changing the fuse doesn't fix the problem check the passenger footwell for dampness as water can get into the convenience control unit from a possible leaking pollen filter housing. If there is no dampness, the control unit could still cause this problem and it;s situated under the carpet in the passenger footwell.
