The diagnostic socket is behind a removable section of facia in the centre section of the dash. Locate the stereo, directly below, but just above the ashtray, you will see the cover, it just pulls off.

Try under the glove box, whether it is LH or RH drive I believe you will find it above your feet under the glove compartment. Good luck.

The connector must be located within three feet of the driver and must not require any tools to be revealed. Normally it's under the steering wheel. If it's not there, look under the dash and behind ashtrays.

Where is the diagnostic plug to get codes from check engine light

The 1990 Isuzu Trooper with a 2.8L GM engine, the diagnostic connector is located directly beneath the coin try in the front of your center console!!
Along with the typical OBD connector is two wires with a spade connector on each, one female and one male. Connect the two wires to display the diagnostic codes on your check engine lamp on the instrument cluster panel.
As for finding out your codes meanings, go to your nearest public library and locate a 1990 Trooper service manual.

I did some research, and was amazed at how many locations are used by Audi. No wonder u can't find it! Go to ross-tech.com click on info, then scroll down to DLC Locations. Hope this is what u need, if not , let me know. countrycurt0
