My lock turned inside seal and I cannot use my key or interior release to open it. I have removed the rear seat and crawled in to physically release it. I had to remove the bracket to get inside as well. I would be happy to use the interior release only. What do I need to do to make this happen? Thank you!

Pull up on the lower front edge to dislodge the seat from the clamps that holds the seat to the floor. Pull hard, if the seat has never been removed. the clamps will be tight. Once the seat bottom is out, you will be able to see the bolts that holds the rear seat backs onto the body.

Sparay lock assy with lubricant, and look where release cable attaches to lock assy, and push/pry it one way or the other to get it to move, opposite of where it is. Lube cable too.

yes you will have to remove the rear seat. the bottom of the seat pulls straight up and out. the back of the seat has twelve mm bolts holding it at the bottom. once those are removed you lift straight up and out, its hooked at top.

There is a hidden deactivation button in the glove box. Just push it and your problem should be solved.
