Have 2000 pontiac grand am se1 no tail lights or dash lights, all others work, all fuses okay

Have no dash lights, ono tail lights, or fog lights, all others work, and all fuses okay, as are the bulbs...any ideas?

Most likely the multi-function switch (head light switch).

fog lamps only work when vehicle in gear and headlights are on low beam

Either there is a short from switch to relay to lights or the bulbs are shot or sockets have the short

brn tail lights turn parking lights on & with a test light back probe connector no power to brown? ck fuse trace harness to switch wires all good bad switch if you know how to use ohm meter you could use that to ck for shorts on continuity Pin

First replace the light switch. It controls all the lights you said don't work. The key chime is a small white switch on top of the ignition You have to remove the steering column bezel to get to it. They stick.

My headlights on bright and fog light is not working. I have changed the bulbs and they still don't work. The fuses seem to look okay. What else should I look for? Do they have another fuse or circut fuse...

Most fog lights turn off when you put your brights on. Check their operation in normal mode first, if they turn off when you turn your brights on... this is normal.

To disable this you need the wiring diagram for your car, you will have to cut 1 wire to be able to have all your lights on at the same time.

Check the head light switch and the ground of the fuses.

clean the computer lead interface. my buddies car did the same thing, we cleaned the computer leads with a good eletronic spray cleaner and it fixed the problem.
