Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

Not familiar with the vehicle however, if the "d" in "dti" stands for diesel, id check the large fuel filter; usually under the hood (bonnet). Possibly only needs the air bled out -especially if the filter has been changed recently.
I had this same problem on a '92. Get the carpet out even if you have to cut it out and dry the car with a space heater or blow dryer. Cover with a canvas to keep water out. Get under the car and look for holes in the floor or firewall allowing rainwater in. You may need to do as I did and remove the hood, left front fender, wipers, and louvered wiper panel, to look for holes. Use a garden hose to find leak. I found 3 rust holes in the firewall, using a strong flashlight and mirror to see hidden areas. I patched with metal patches, silicone, and roofing tar.
check the drain hole in under the front window voth side you will probably find a lot of leaves and muck in there clean this out. if sun roof fitted after you do this blow out the muck in there and re do the front pars again. check the wiring seals are ok and that there is no rust on the walls inside there. it should stop now. also this can happen in vectras to on the roof near to the rear doors on both sides there is a plastic cover. take them off and reseal them at same time put the plastic bit back on so the sealant holds them in place the check the seal in the boot just after the part just sealed there is to gromets with the wire coming out make sure they are in good and sealed and the seal on the part from roof to boot don't have splits in the seal if it has reseal them. had to do this to father in laws as the boot started growing mushrooms and mould. also check the seal on the arial if fitted to the roof.
