I'm not certain on your specific car, but if all the doors are closed, and the interior lamp switch is off (the dimmer for the dash lights), they should turn off. You could have a defective switch (long shot), or a short in the wiring, or the delay circuit that keeps the lights on for a time is defective. Without a diagram and some expertise in electrical circuits, this is a job for a real DIY or an auto electric shop.

Why is my brake warning light stay on?
There is enough of a brake fluid leak to move the valve that turns on the light. Solve the fluid leak first then bleed the brakes to reposition the brake warning valve so the light goes off. It's best to have a brake shop do the work.

Check your brake fluid if low have your brakes checked. The brake ligh on the dash stays on if fluid is low or if there is a pressure differential (leak).

be sure your headlight switch is TURNED half way...also make sure the button on the light is off...Then disconnect battery(S) both pos.and neg. for at least 30 minutes Reconnect battery(S)

4x4 ligh stays on after taking out of 4x4 lor or high will go off after set while. I check all vac. line look ok.
After 4x4 use try putting back in 2 wheel normal, Then back up 10 to 15 feet and see if this turns off light, By doing this it releases the gears from each other

Lights
Check to see that your dimmer switch isn't on. If not you may have a bad door adjar switch.
