Fold down the other seat and look between the flat and see if anything is obstructing it from moving push the leaver and make sure it's hooked up

The seat only goes as far as it goes. If yo need more room than your only other option is to remove the seat or recline the seat back and hope the load will fit over the seat.

If the motor is making noise but not moving, the motor probably needs to be replaced.

If it isn't making noise, check the electrical connection. If its getting power it could be that the motor needs to be replaced.If it just hums when you try to operate it, the motor is either jammed or needs to be replaced.

the drivers seat is a known problem on all ford explorers

might try checking the fuses first. may be connection problem under the seat if fuses are not the problem. could also be switch or even the motor on the seat. hopefully just a fuse. good luck and hope this helps some

There's also plastic guides that the track rides on, if ur heavy like me the seat frame chews up the plastic guides and gets stuck, just had to take a pry bar to mine tonight

Try tapping the power seat frame with a hammer to unbind the motor .
