If it isn't making noise, check the electrical connection. If its getting power it could be that the motor needs to be replaced. If it just hums when you try to operate it, the motor is either jammed or needs to be replaced.

SOURCE: my drivers seat wont move.

check the track for anything that have gotten stuck in it and then check the fuses and if all good the motor could simply be burned out get a 12volt tester and if the fuses are good test to see if you have power while pushing the button because it could be just a bad switch

U will need to replace the power seat transmission, the gears are most likely stripped out, not uncommon, this part is $800 so i would suggest u try to locate a used one.

SOURCE: electric seat motor switch...no move back

Cross the wires...from the switch to the motors...since the switch works one way, but not the other. Instead if cutting cable/wire, try a jumper (another wire) and cross the connection at the plug to the switch. I have same problem...I reversed switch as mentioned above, to move seat back.

How do i fix the drivers seat back on my 2003 kia sorento

If it's a power seat, it's most likely the switch, but possibly the motor. If it moves one direction only, I would say switch. Neither direction would suggest the motor.
