What happens is the door handle linkage breaks and you cannot open the door. You can get it open with a very thin metal strip, by jimmying the latch, but it is really hard to do. I also used to drill a hole in the door to get them open, then replace the door.

How remove glove compartment on 2007 lexus ls460

To remove the glove compartment on a 2007 Lexus LS460, you will need to first open the compartment. Then, you will need to locate the mounting screws that hold the compartment in place. These screws are usually located on the sides or bottom of the compartment. Once you have found the screws, use a screwdriver to remove them. After the screws have been removed, the glove compartment should be able to be gently pulled away from the dashboard. If the compartment is stuck, you may need to carefully pry it away using a flat tool like a screwdriver or a trim panel tool. Be careful not to damage the dashboard or the glove compartment as you remove it. Once the glove compartment has been removed, you can access the area behind it for maintenance or repair.
