I'm replacing the motor in a 1991 GMC 1500. If I use the existing TBI intake, what year model 5.7 engines will "bolt in" with minimal wiring issues?

Could be the TPI Sensor or it might be a touch out of timing.

There is an updated resistor/connector package. Very expensive from GM, try your local NAPA or other parts supplier for a replacement

THE INJECTORS ARE PULSED TO GROUND DIRECTLY BY THE ECM...... MAIN COMPUTER... IT COULD BE FLAKY BUT I HAVE FOUND MANY TIMES THAT THE HALL EFFECT SENSOR LOCATED IN THE TOP OF THE DISTRIBITOR GETS INTERMITTANT.... THIS CAUSES LOSS OF SIGNAL TO ECM INTURN LOSS OF SIGNAL OUT OF ECM TO INJECTORS... LET ME KNOW

The blower motor is on the passengers side under the dash. You might have to remove the a lower panel. This is the insulator panel. If the blower works at all just turn it on and follow the noise.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I had to change the blower motor, turns out the spring tension on the brushes on the motor were too tight and ate into the brass commutator of my old motor.
