The heater is just a radiator using the coolant to heat the car if. If you're having blower motor issues, it should be under the passenger foot well. It usually looks like a black bowl. Often it's a short, use your palm and hit it or around it, hit it just enough to get it working again. Over time it might quit, I've had them continue to work long after. Relays are often under the hood on the passenger side, and can be tested, they click if they're working. You can sometimes find great blower motor replacements in junk yards.

Need to find the relay for the heater so the blower will work 2001 lincoln ls

There are several Powerboxes containing Relays. One of the frequent problems in Ford makes is the Blower motor resistor. This is a control which is found by following the wires from the blower motor across the engine bay. Usually midway, the wires will connect to the part. The part will have 2 mounting bolts. About 90% of this part is hidden inside most ductworks.

Sometimes replacement is not necessary. Tapping this part with a broom handle or snowbrush will often reactivate it. Sometimes permanently. Durability of the new part is questionable; so the old reactivated part may outlast a new replacement.

The heater wont work even with a new heater in it is the relay under the hood

Here again I try to promote the Chilton's Manual online or but the book in your local auto parts store and YouTube especially if your are attempting this on your own. It is possible that you may need to replace only a fuse. But I would check those places out first.

A/C works heater doesn't

Check water level in the radiator first then if radiator is full your control valve is malfunctioning and you will need to take it to a shop.
