If you can see the edge of the glass (not stuck inside a rubber mould) then the glass will be glued to the body. The quickest and easiest way for you to get a water proof job without the mess is to have a windscreen shop fit it for you. Believe me you do not want the hassle.

I have a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder too and it does the same problem when you push the locks down it sounds like a relay in the back of the Vehicle and when the weather is cold they work fine, finally found that the lock of the hatch is bad and this is causing the problem all the locks should to be closed in order to automatically lock or unlock, just clean it up and put oil, it worked for me.

Guessing they're power windows. The driver side control unit for your windows is the master. If one of the other 3 windows fails individualy, the rest should work. If you lose the driver side, everything fails. Chances are water/snow/debris got between the crack of your window and the door and corroded something. Quickfix, get an airline and blow it down between the glass and door. Debris will be dislodge. If that doesn't work you need to take the paneling off on the inside of your door.
There'll be a dozen or so plastic pop tabs you can gently free with a flathead. There'll be screws or hex headed fasteners in the door handle, don't forget them. Unclasp any pigtails you see as the paneling come off. Check for continuity and obvious defects on the control unit. Replace as necessary.

Check for any vacuum leaks near the fuel system. be careful to notice where you removed the hoses from. check the windshield wiper motor by jumping it from the battery. be careful not to touch any ground wires with the positive.

check the fuse for the cruise control (CC). Secondly, use a meter to make sure the switch is good underneath the brake lever. There are typically two switches underneat the arm; one controls your brake lights and the other controls the on/off [cancel] feature of the CC.
